QUITE AN INTERESTING EVENT occurred at the residence of Mr. Samuel Carter, on the evening of the 31 inst. Mr. James Harris and Miss Laura Carter--Mr. Frank Lee and Miss Ella Carter were united in marriage by Rev. Dr. Vincent of New Athens, Ohio. Mr. Carter with much difficulty secured his daughters a good education, and they were successful teachers, one of them having taught in the city of Wheeling, and their deportment was always such to entitle them to respect of all who knew them.
