Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness

Thank you so much!

"Yesterday my [sic] son history class with the help of the BCCOGS and M***M***** did some cleaning of Civil War headstones. Walker was one of the ones that will be cleaned and preserved. The class did 10 stones and helped reset 4 more. In the spring they will do moreaccording to funding, and this summer we will be restoring the Captina Cem.[sic] know as the New Guinea settlement. This is the only one of this kind in the state of Ohio, and several people are interested in doing this. The students from Nick's class are doing research on the persons they cleaned and your posting will be of great help to them."

I thanked her, her son and their effort to preserve history.
